Former Chelsea midfielder, Emmanuel Petit has warned the club against signing Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen is one of the players linked with a summer move to Chelsea.
The 25-year-old has a release clause of around €120m-€130m in the new contract he signed last December.
Petit said his former club should focus on nurturing their current squad rather than pursuing reinforcements.
“I don’t think Chelsea need Gyokeres or Osimhen.
“With Chelsea, there are so many players who are not playing to their level and can do so much more,” Petit told Genting Casino.
Osimhen has also been linked with a move to Arsenal and Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain.
