NLO reads riot acts to clubs ahead of new season

The Nigeria Nationwide League One, NLO, has directed its secretariat to implement the rules on club participation in the 2024 season.
NLO disclosed this in a memo sent to the clubs.
The secretariat stated that any club that did not meet the requirements shall cease to be part of NLO from the 2024 season.

Furthermore, NLO urged clubs to be an affiliate of a state and pay an annual registration fee as determined by the league body.
Any club in violation of this payment would be assumed to have withdrawn her participation in the league.
The NLO secretariat also said that clubs who paid part payment should request for a refund.
The 2024 NLO season is expected to kick off on Saturday April 13, 2024.
Over 153 teams are pencilled down to participate in the new NLO season.
