EPL: We didn’t show energy, hunger against Burnley – Pochettino slams Chelsea players

Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino has hit out at his players following the Blues’ Premier League 2-2 draw with Burnley on Saturday.
Pochettino said Chelsea players failed to show capacity and energy against the visitors at Stamford Bridge.
A brace from Cole Palmer and a goal from Lorenz Assignon and Dara O’Shea’s ensured both teams got a point each.

Speaking at his post-match interview after the game, Pochettino said:
“Today we didn’t show the capacity, the energy, the hunger that is the minimum to compete in the Premier League.
“In the defensive phase we conceded too much. That is why I am so upset and disappointed.”
He added, “We need to increase our percentage of goals.”
