Manchester City midfielder, Kevin de Bruyne, has said manager Pep Guardiola will leave him out of his starting XI if he doesn’t perform.
De Bruyne was left on the bench for the entire 90 minutes against Aston Villa in midweek.
Phil Foden’s hat-trick saw City beat Villa 4-2 at the Etihad.
But Guardiola started De Bruyne against Crystal Palace in Saturday’s early kick-off and left Foden on the bench.
De Bruyne responded with two goals and one assist as they won 4-2 at Selhurst Park.
